Leonardo M. Barros
Leonardo M. Barros is a Film and TV producer, born in Rio de Janeiro. He is Partner and Senior VP with Conspiração Filmes, a leading Brazilian production company. His film credits include one Cannes, one Venice, 2 Sundance, 3 Berlin and 5 Toronto official selections since 2000 and two of Brazil’s official entries to the Oscars (Best Foreign Language Film). His more than 15 feature films - including the Brazilian blockbusters “2 Filhos de Francisco” (The #1 film in Brazil in 2005 with 5.5m admissions) and “A Mulher Invisível” (2.3m admissions in 2010) - have been distributed by Sony Pictures, Sony Classics, Optimum, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Buena Vista International and sold worldwide by companies such as Wild Bunch and Fortissimo. His TV credits include the twice Emmy-nominated series “Mandrake” (Best TV Series) from HBO Latin America. Previous positions before partnering with CF in 1996 include: Marketing Manager with PolyGram Brazil (now Universal Music) and International Marketing Director with Deutsche Grammophon GmbH (Hamburg, Germany). Mr. Barros studied Philosophy and Business Administration in Rio de Janeiro and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the IBMEC Business School.

Jean-Frederic Garcia (Partner)
Managing Director, The Location Guide
After completing his MA and his National Service (French Parachute Regiment) in 1996, Jean-Frédéric moved to the United Kingdom to teach French and Spanish at corporate level for Blue Chip companies like National Power, Halliburton, BMW UK and MTV Europe among others. In late 1999, Jean-Frédéric became International Sales Consultant for shots, the leading international trade title for the TV commercial/advertising industry, part of the Emap Media Group. His job was to sell across the shots portfolio in Western Europe, Latino-America, Canada and the Middle East. He successfully lead the sales team across all the directories, including The Location Guide, to eventually manage the advertising sales department. In November 2004 Jean-Frédéric helped devise the business plan to set up The Location Guide as an independent publishing company. Taking on the role of Managing Director from January 2005, he has successfully managed the team and finances that have made The Location Guide a profitable company while managing the development of new products and team expsion. In his spare time, Jean-Frédéric is passionate about Formula One and cars in general, likes running and cycling, and enjoys travelling and reading.

Pim Hemerling
Founded in 2008 by CEO Pim Hermeling, Wild Bunch Benelux Distribution is an independent all media Benelux distributor with a focus on art house (plus) movies that are strongly marketing and director driven. This film distribution company based in Amsterdam, is a joint venture with Wild Bunch (France). Astrid Kahmke
Astrid Kahmke studied German Literature and Drama in Munich and Cultural and Media Management in Hamburg and spent a few years working for several theatre companies and stage directors. Additionally she managed theatre and music festivals. Since 1996 she works for the Bavaria Film Group as dramatic adviser for numerous feature films, TV series and TV movies, and as a script consultant and as associate producer. Since 2008 she works as producer for Bavaria Film and develops and realizes TV and feature film projects for the German and international market. In 2008 she won the Producer Award of the Film Fest Hamburg. Since February 2012 she is helming the “First Movie Program”, an initiative to support upcoming writers, directors and producers in their first long film project.

Philipp Kreuzer
Philipp Kreuzer is a producer and lawyer and holds a master’s degree (MBS MEGA 1999) in audiovisual production and management. After working as an entertainment lawyer in Germany and the US, he worked in film finance for The Film Consortium and at the equity fund MFP Munich Film Partners. From 2001 until 2004, he was in charge of a large number of European feature film co-productions as a project manager at Eurimages. In 2005 he joined Bavaria Film Group. He is now Head of Production Finance and Co-Production, Deputy Managing Director of Bavaria Film’s feature film and TV production company Bavaria Pictures and manages the Rome-based production/distribution company Bavaria Media Italia. Joining international activities in production and sales, he also acts as Vice President International and Co-Production of the newly founded Global Screen (a joint venture between Bavaria Media and Telepool).

In Ah Lee
In-Ah Lee is a producer based in Los Angeles and Cologne. With a background in law and television in Germany, she moved to Los Angeles in 1998 where she worked with directors Marcus Nispel and Wim Wenders. Her producing credits include Wim Wenders’ LAND OF PLENTY and DON’T COME KNOCKING, Catalin Mitulescu’s THE WAY I SPENT THE END OF THE WORLD, Grace Lee’s AMERICAN ZOMBIE and Arvin Chen’s AU REVOIR TAIPEI. Her upcoming projects include films by Peter Antonijevic, Niels Mueller and Arvin Chen.
