The designation of Certified Film Commissioner will be awarded to those who have completed the AFCI training program, signifying that they have achieved the highest level of accomplishment in the profession. The certification program is designed to be comprehensive and challenging. It is comprised of a combination of the required Master Classes, outside activities, examinations or other demonstrations of mastery and written materials. Those who are certified will be re-examined every five years and must demonstrate continuing achievements in education and service to the industry in order to retain their certification.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION
The successful candidate for AFCI Certification must complete the following requirements:

Download the Case Study Grading Criteria*You are required to take both FIlm Commission Fundamentals, and The Film Commission Professional before continuing with the Master Classes. However, those individuals who can demonstrate that they have taken Film Commission Fundamentals prior to 2007 are not required to take these courses.
