About the Commission:

In 2005, The Foundation of Renewal for Eastern North Carolina (FoR ENC) was recognized as the official Eastern Region Film Commission by the North Carolina Department of Commerce. The Eastern Region Film Commission represents all 32 eastern North Carolina counties not currently served by the Wilmington Region Film Commission.
Eastern North Carolina is a vast region--three times the size of New Jersey--with over three thousand miles of pristine coastline. Exquisite colonial and pre-colonial towns such as Bath, Edenton, Swanquarter and Elizabeth City dot the landscape. Locations suitable for filming number in the many hundreds, and include the urban and rural, industrial and agricultural, two large sounds, dozens of rivers and estuaries, and a varied and unique mix of towns of varying size, history and architecture.
